The Hounds again lost games to rain as the Vernon Hills Cougar Classic was canceled due to heavy rains. 

Friday night the Hounds lost a dissapointing game 7-6 to Northbrook Black as some very timely hitting help Northbrook put up 3 runs in the 4th and 5th innings.  The Hounds fought back in the bottom of the 6th with the bases loaded but ended the game on a force play at 3rd.

Late Friday and earling morning Saturday rain storms flooded the fields for the 3rd time that week prompting officials to call off the rest of the tournament.
